This website is very useful and interesting I learned alot of things. There is a place at the top of the website that says get involved and you can do anything from signing up to recieve a newspaper to volunteering and helping on site at one of the schools. They have pictures of children and people playing instruments. Some of the Pictures reminded me of the movie we watched in class on Tuesday. I'm really glad there is organiztions around like this to help with the movement and also to keep the children educated. There also is a catalog where you can order wallets, jewlery, clothing and the list goes on. Please check out the website theres so much information and things to be learned.

In your post you mentioned how happy you were that there were organizations created whose purpose is to help the movement. After searching through the website, I came across the "Chiapas Travel Program". In this program, individuals can volunteer to go live in an indigenous community in Chiapas. They state, "the vibrant Zapatista communities and civilian centers there will welcome you with warm and open hearts". I feel that programs such as this one will allow the truth to come to the surface and the false statements about the issues in this community will begin to fade away. By having individuals live in these communities, they will see first hand the struggles that they are facing and will be able to make positive changes to the community.
