Mariachi music causes alot of debate over what mariachi music. I posted this because it starts with some mariachi history and is a very interesting article. enjoy :)

After reading through the main page, I was rather pleased with the information that was provided as the majority of it went hand in hand with our latest reading on Mariachi. As you search through the rest of the site, there are links to both a list of festivals as well as pictures from those festivals. The list is quite lengthy, and there were tons of festivals that took place in Tucson! (I know Prof. Hutchinson would be thrilled). What I found particularly interesting about this site was link to the pictures because they clearly illustrated the range of Mariachi groups that have been popular in the last 10-20 years.
